HVAC Installation
Regulations:
The HVAC installation is according to the Dutch standards and is compliant with the most recent Dutch VCCN-RL7 guideline. Following this guideline makes the complex suitable for all EU countries.
UDF:
Both OT's are fitted with a laminar flow system of 2000x2000mm. The plenum can be changed to a larger system.
HVAC System:
The system contains a central HVAC machine in the technical room for the supply of fresh air. The system is also fitted with a chiller and a heater (gas). Via the control system both OT's are supplied with the correct airflow, temperature and humidity.
Electrical Installation
Regulations:
The electrical installation is according the EN standards for medical facilities. The system contains medical transformers installed in the technical room to which all outlets are connected. System alerts are given to the OT on the control panel installed in the wall.
All OT's are equipped with medical bonding all connected to the clean earth rail of the building.
Data:
The building is equipped with its own data network with patch panel installed in the technical room. These data connections have galvanic separation between the OT's.
UPS:
The building is fitted with UPS systems for the surgical light, control systems and two outlets per OT.
Building Control System:
The building is fitted with a building control system with control panels in each OT. From these panels you can control all systems of the building and the system will alert the user when one of the component is down. This system can also be monitored from outside.
Fire safety:
The building is fitted with a fire safety system with smoke detectors in both OT's and in the technical room. At the entrance a control box is fitted from which the system can be operated and connected to existing systems.
General building specifications
Construction:
Steel frame construction with cold formed profiles. The frame is self supporting and contains a floor, roof and columns. All parts are welded for extra strength.
Floor:
Concrete floor for the operating theaters. Rest of the building contains cementboard plating
Roof:
Roof construction of sandwichpanels with extra insulation on top. The roof is provided with EPDM roof covering
Walls:
All walls are made of sandwichpanels with insulation. On the outer walls there is a facade of aluminium profile plating.
Outside:
The complete complex is finished with steel profile plating and painted in dark grey color.

Floor:
All rooms are provided with PVC flooring. In the OT's the PVC flooring is anti static according to the regulations
Ceiling:
The complex is provided with a false ceiling at 2450mm above floor level. The ceiling is a hygienic ceiling special for OT areas.
Walls:
The inner walls are provided with anti bacterial HPL plating at the edges sealed with luting.

Building
We are offering a modern, modular and comprehensive OT-complex, which can be placed at any given location in Europe. This OT complex is equipped with all technical installations and comes with fixed medical equipment like booms and lights. Further equipment available on request. The OT-complex is suitable for any procedures (ISO 5).
Following contract signature the OT complex can be operational at your site within a 2 months time period. The complex has been used only once for a period of 6 months at a Belgian hospital.
The complex contains of six modules (6x3m each) including one module that contains the technical installations.
